I just did a Periscope today with my son on how I make these adorable little apple treats. (Scroll back a few posts to see the popsicles I made). I bring these to most parties I attend and they’re the first to go! Yep- adults and kids alike grab these little cuties before cupcakes! They’re “one-bite wonders” which people often appreciate at parties. Have you ever noticed that you will eat dessert at a party just because it’s there? You might be stuffed, but you’ll grab the cheesecake because it’s there, and it’s the only option. Be the change my friends….be the change! Bring something slightly healthier for your friends and family. If it’s just a little sweet tooth you’re trying to cure- these little pops will do the trick. These little treats are always the first to go at parties.  You can dip them in anything you like.  I often choose coconut, nuts, graham cracker or even tiny pieces of Quest bars.

Instructions

  1. Using a melon baller, scoop out as many small balls as you can make in each apple.  6-7 is usually the max.
  2. Blot the flesh to dry it off.  Spear through the top (green portion) with a lollipop stick and dip 3/4 of it into the chocolate.  Tap off any extra.
  3. Carefully dip into your toppings of choice covering the bottom and halfway up the sides. Harden in the fridge for 10 minutes.
