Paleo Baked Spiraled Pears

By May 21, 2014

This is a fresh and fun way to eat a healthy dessert.  These pear noodles are seriously like spaghetti.  The bowl is a Paleo Wrap that's gluten free.  Watch your kids dive into these slightly sweet and "totally cool" dessert noodles!  They won't even miss having frosting, food coloring and all the other junk in typical desserts when they get to swirl and slurp up pear noodles.  If you're paleo- omit the yogurt.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Press the Paleo Wrap into a bowl or tostada dish.  Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sweetener and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.  Spiralized your pear.  Toss it with the protein powder, stirring to combine, and then add 1 teaspoon granulated sweetener and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and toss.  Place the pears inside the Paleo Wrap.  Cover with foil.  Bake for 7-8 minutes (you want the wrap to brown but not burn).  Remove from oven.  Let sit for 5 minutes.  Stir the yogurt with a pinch of cinnamon and sugar substitute. Remove the shell carefully from the dish.  Sprinkle with pecans and dollop the yogurt on top.
