This recipe can be vegan if you use vegan protein powder, which we did use for one batch. The other batch we used a grass-fed whey. Either way you’re looking at a rich and creamy dessert that’s pretty-darn guilt free. The fat in it is from heart healthy coconut. No dairy in sight here…and best of all, NO sugar!
Just a few natural ingredients plus an ice cream machine yields a pretty incredible dessert that just happens to be protein-packed!
- Prep Time : 15 minutes
- Yield : 4
- Place all ingredients into a blender. Process for 10 seconds.
- Pour into the base of an ice cream maker and churn for 15 minutes or until frozen, creamy and delicious.
- Scoop into 4 frozen bowls and enjoy!
- Decorate with sugar-free chocolate chips and chopped strawberries, if desired.
