Part of me (a very small part), feels guilty that my kids don't get to enjoy the packaged sweets that other kids bring to school. I never want them feeling left out, or to go completely bananas around sugar (because they seldom see it), but I also do not feel good about packing processed snacks. I like to create "mom approved" recipes that make them feel like other kids that don't contain sugar, dyes or trans fats. This cookie dough can be placed in a small jar and packed in a lunchbox. Add a spoon and your kiddo will be proud to eat up cookie dough by the spoonful with the other kids at the lunch tables. It's high fiber and low sugar, but sweet and fun for your loved ones.
